Description

The byteENGINE AM4377 is a high performance industrial oriented computing module. It allows a short time-to-market, while reducing development costs and substantial design risks. The system on module (SOM) uses the Texas Instruments AM4377 industrial applications processor with 1000 MHz. The CPU features furthermore a quad core PRU with 200 MHz.

The Programmable Real-Time Unit and Industrial Communication Subsystem (PRU-ICSS) allows independent operation from the ARM® Cortex® processor. PRU-ICSS enables real-time protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, Ethernet Powerlink and Sercos.
