The g3 Powerline dev-kit bytePLC realizes your product ideas in shortest time periods. The board is either a network node or network interface to the respective Linux system. The Powerline communication used is based on the g3 standard. Zephyr runs as an operating system on the STM32F446 with powerline communication connected to the Zephyr IPv4 stack. Known protocols like COAP or MQTT can be used directly on the bytePLC and customer applications can be easily integrated. The wired IoT is therefore ideal for smart-building applications. The g3 standard supported by the bytePLC is mainly used in the smart grid sector und has adapted a 24 VDC network. bytePLC is also equipped with an Arduino-Uno-compatible extension interface.

The Powerline communication used is based on the g3 standard. And for the application, the bytePLC is equipped with a Cortex®-M4 CPU.

Zephyr as operating system for smart-building apps

Zephyr runs as an operating system on the STM32F446 CPU with powerline communication connected to the Zephyr IPv4 stack. Known protocols like COAP or MQTT can be used directly on the bytePLC and customer applications can be easily integrated. The wired IoT is therefore ideal for smart-building applications.

Robust powerline communication based on the g3 standard

The g3 standard supported by the bytePLC is mainly used in the smart grid sector: intelligent electricity meters, for example, communicate via g3 with a control unit over several kilometers. The bytePLC has adapted this technology to a 24 VDC network.
